The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour

The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour delivers Andrew Lloyd Webber’s emotive musical drama as few productions have. Directed by Simon Phillips with sets and costumes by Gabriela Tylesova, the show brings the story’s gothic romance to life on an over-water stage, complete with a chandelier moment, mirror illusions, and a hidden live orchestra beneath the stage.

This open-air format has been part of Handa Opera’s repertoire since 2012, marrying high production values with Sydney’s harbour beauty. Expect dramatic staging, bold design, and a score including “The Music of the Night,” “All I Ask of You,” and “Masquerade.”
