Check-in & pre-dive briefing
Arrive ahead of your scheduled slot for registration and a detailed safety briefing. You’ll be introduced to scuba basics, equipment, hand signals, and key safety procedures, designed for beginners with no prior diving experience.
Training & gear-up
Take part in a guided training session where you’ll practice breathing techniques and get comfortable using the equipment. All scuba gear, including wetsuits and tanks, is provided on-site.
Guided shark dive
Enter the Shark Valley oceanarium with professional instructors and spend 25–30 minutes underwater, moving through the same space as Grey Nurse sharks, rays, and other marine species in a controlled, cage-free environment.
Post-dive & aquarium access
After your dive, you’ll receive a completion certificate and can continue exploring the aquarium with full-day entry, including popular zones like Penguin Expedition, Dugong Island, and the ocean tunnels.

This was my third visit to SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, and it just keeps getting better. As soon as you enter, you can grab a map at the front so you won’t get lost, though the layout is very visitor-friendly. The staff were incredibly helpful, everything is well maintained, and I loved the souvenir machines and you can even get your photos taken for free, which is such a nice bonus. Restrooms are conveniently located near each area, which makes a big difference, especially for families. Perfect for anyone who loves marine life and unique experiences. Perfect coming with a group of friends or your family. It’s perfect for snapping some really cute pictures too.

We had a great experience visiting SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. The entry process was smooth and well organized, which made the start of our visit very enjoyable. The variety of marine life is impressive, and some exhibits, especially the underwater tunnels, were truly stunning.
It’s a nice activity to do while in Sydney, and we especially enjoyed taking videos throughout the visit. However, some areas felt a bit crowded and a few sections could use a refresh to make the experience even better.
Overall a very good visit and definitely worth doing 😊
