I have been to Featherdale four times but many years ago. The first difference I noticed was that you now had to pay to have a "koala experience" ... previously there was always a koala in the viewing area that was open for visitors to pat the koala and take your own photos. Now you have to pay $25! The second difference we noticed was there were no baby animals eg chickens, lambs, kids, piklets to pet in the Farmyard Enclosure. Perhaps it was the time of year and there were no babies however there are always chickens and baby rabbits no matter what season it is. So the only animals to pet were the goats and wallabies (outside this enclosure). So this Farmyard enclosure is just that, walk past the enclosure for the one pig, the enclosure of the rabbits, the enclosure of the sheep... The third difference was the lack of animals freely walking around .... last time we had lunch surrrounded by pelicans and tawny frogmouth, ibis, etc but this time there just the ibis, egrets and pigeons. There was a great improvement in the food available, apart from the normal kids' food of nuggets, pies , there was a great choice of healthy sandwiches and wraps. The whole park was very clean and the staff very friendly.

Disappointed that after purchasing on line tickets to Featherdale, that we still had to queque for about 1/2 hr to get in, there should be a priority line for pre purchased tickets. Featherdale is a bit tired & smelly, needs an upgrade throughout. Headout itself was good, good price, easy to buy tickets from.

1) Long wait time despite having booked the tickets online - ticketing at the entrance complicated the process. 2) Long wait time to order food at cafeteria and then an even longer wait time to get the ordered food. rest the park and facilities are good.

Most of the animal experiences were not running ie: the echidna feeding etc. Also there was no social distancing. The reptile house has a big sign saying only 20 people in it at one time, no one was policing it and it was packed with people. The birds looked totally miserable and Vincent the koala came down for a drink then was looking for a way out of the enclosure. He didn't seem happy. There were kids chasing birds that were out of wandering around, trying to kick them and throwing things at them. On the way out through the gift shop there was only one register working and the line to pay for things was at least 20 deep! So we didn't let the kids buy anything.

Your Blue Mountains adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Sydney’s city center. This small-group tour ensures you have a more personalized experience as you head west to the mountains. If you’re an early riser, enjoy a quiet moment in the CBD before the hustle and bustle takes over.

1

Echo Point

2

Scenic World

90 minutes

With your Scenic World pass, enjoy three amazing rides and a guided walk through the lush rainforest. The Skyway, Cableway, and Railway offer unique views from above and below. Take advantage of the glass-bottomed Skyway for views that are literally a step above the rest—perfect for those Instagram shots!

3

Katoomba Falls

35 minutes

Marvel at the majestic Katoomba Falls, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the cascading water, framed by lush greenery. The peaceful surroundings make for a perfect stop for some tranquility. Take your time here. Since your small group allows for flexibility, enjoy the falls without the crowds, especially in the quiet early hours.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable day from start to finish with Bob our tour guide with Andersons Travel. We stopped in numerous lookouts including Echo Point to see the 3 sisters rock foundation, Scenic world(using 3 rides and a walkway), Cahills lookout over the Megalong Valley, Leura,Lincoln's Rest abd visited Featherdale Wildlife Park where we actually fed kangaroos(one with a Joey). We had a lovely lunch,(choice of 4) at the Bunker, we had the gluten free chicken schnitzel with chips and salad. Then to finish off the day we were taken to the Sydney Olympic Park jetty to catch our ferry to Barangaroo along the Parramatta River. An amazing day from start to finish with perfect weather. Highly recommended

Easy entry with my Headout tickets. Unfortunately it was midday and really hot on the day so many of the animals were out of the heat and could not be seen. Still had a good time and the zoo is well played out with many resting and refreshment areas.

Google lists to Zoos in Sydney – one in the Taranga one is Sydney wildlife zoo in this city. I bought tickets for wildlife zoo but when I arrived, I was told that we needed to take a train for hour and a half to get to the zoo, I purchased tickets for. This is misrepresentation. You must refund my money.
